Med-Start: 50 Years Helping Young People Prepare for Their Future in the Health Professions

The six-week academic enrichment program at the University of Arizona Health Sciences hosted 50 high school students from 22 Arizona communities this summer in an intensive exploration of health professions careers that will impact the health and lives of others.

High School Students Learn Trauma Response, Pharmacists’ Skills and Chest-Compression-Only CPR
