The New Faculty Mentoring Program, offered in collaboration with The University of Arizona Office of Diversity & Inclusive Excellence, is designed to help new junior faculty succeed by providing tools and strategies to support productivity, research, and career advancement. It is also intended to increase social support, mentoring and networking to increase career satisfaction and retention.
The New Faculty Mentoring Program consists of eight sessions:
- Friday, September 22, 9:00-10:30: Mentoring & Networking
- Friday, October 27, 9:00-10:30: Planning Your Career to Optimize Success
- Friday, November 17, 9:00-10:30: Publish not Perish
- Friday, December 8, 9:00-10:00: End-of-Semester Debriefing & Feedback
- Friday, January 26, 9:00-10:30: Research Funding & Visibility
- Friday, February 23, 9:00-10:30: Career Advancement
- Friday, March 23, 9:00-10:30: Pathways to Leadership
- Friday, April 27, 9:00-10:30: Celebrating Success
