FRONTERA is a University of Arizona summer research experience program focusing on the border area. The program’s outreach efforts in Nogales were featured in Nogales International. FRONTERA participants are going door-to-door to educate people about mosquito-borne illnesses and how to prevent them as part of a statewide “Fight the Bite” project.
