About the Speaker
Dr. Joseph (Hopi) is an Environmental Scientist who specializes in the chemical and biogeophysical relationship between natural and engineered landscapes impacted by hazardous waste and human disturbance.
Currently, she is a postdoctoral fellow with the University of Arizona Center for Indigenous Environmental Health Research, conducting tribally-driven exposure science and the potential impacts of contaminants on health, and the Agnese Nelms Haury Program in Environment and Social Justice at the UArizona Institute of the Environment..
Join us in a motivating seminar series that showcases Native American professionals. A student-only lunch session with the speaker will be held right after research presentation.
