Traditional Honoring Ceremony

You are invited to attend the 2021 Traditional Honoring Ceremony in person in honor of our graduating American Indian Students from the University of Arizona Health Sciences, College of Medicine hosted by the UAHS | Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.  Mr. Pete Flores, Pascua Yaqui Medicine Man and Dr. Gonzales will be blessing you on Thursday, May 13th at 8 AM at Walk of Wellness-Drachman Hall.

The purpose of the ceremony is to bring together students, their families and the campus community for a traditional blessing to honor your educational journey and a new beginning in your professional journey as a healer in the community.

 Following the Livestreamed Honoring Ceremony, at 10 AM  a Virtual Honoring Ceremony for the graduating students of College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing and College of Public Health will be implemented.  (Please see both flyers).

The ceremony will be livestreamed.  Please feel free to invite other family and friends to join us VIRTUALLY  in providing blessings and best wishes to you for your great accomplishments.
