The Border Latino & American Indian Summer Exposure to Research (BLAISER) is a cutting edge program at the University of Arizona Health Sciences (UAHS) designed to empower students to choose and enter a career in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health or Biomedical Science.

A service-learning course that provides bilingual Spanish-speaking students the opportunity to volunteer as medical interpreters.

This summer internship program, open to undergraduate and undergraduate students, matches participants with a faculty mentor, provides them with hands-on research experience, and increases their understanding of public health disparities in the U.S.-Mexico Border Region.

Based in Costa Rica and Spain, Global MedCats is a Spanish-immersion program that strives to prepare pre-health and health profession students to provide appropriate health care in Spanish.
